JAMB RELEASE CUT OFF MARK AND STATISTICS FOR 2022 YEAR EXAMS


The management of Joint Admission and matriculation board has today releases the cut off mark for candidates who wrote the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. 

According to the Matriculation Board (JAMB) the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) are the first two institutions that had the highest numbers of candidates.

Also, on Thursday it was revealed that only 378,639 of the 1,761,338 who wrote the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations scored 200 and above.

While giving further statistics of the 2022 examination, Oloyede noted that 378,639 scored above 200; a total of 520,596 candidates scored 190 and above ; 704,991 scored 180 and above; 934,103 scored 170 and above; 1,192, 057 scored 160 and above.

According to the board a total of 69 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination 2022 (UTME) results have been withheld since the last practice.

The UTME 2022 exams started on Friday 6 May and ends on Friday 13 May 2022.

According to the performance of Candidates, the management therefore set Universities cut off mark at 140, Polytechnic and College of Education at 100 respectively.

JAMB previously notified applicants that their UTME 2022 results can only be checked via SMS. They advised candidates in a statement released a few weeks ago to send UTMERESULT to 55019 and use the same phone number they used to register with JAMB 2022 to verify their results.
